Ramses Temple
Nefertari Temple
In the south of the Aswan Lake you will find Abu Simbel,
a monumental site. Certain organised circuits do not
include this excursion systematically, but this site is
undeniably worth the trouble. The pharaoh Ramses II
already had 3200 years ago a feeling for the style - and
to prove its power. On all the Egyptian territory, the
leader had established monuments, which still today
count innumerable visitors of the whole world. The
Temple cut in Abu Simbel's rock is impressive; it is so
enormous that one has difficulty to photographing it
only with a usual objective. |
