Victoria Hotel
A traditional favorite of budget
travelers to Egypt is the Victoria Hotel, ideally
located in the downtown area of Cairo. The primary
reason it is so popular with budget tours is the size of
the hotel. Many of the less expensive hotels in Egypt
are too small to accept large tour groups
The Victoria Hotel is certainly worth a look if one is
contemplating independent travel to Egypt, and is where
more than a few people will end up if they book a budget
tour. That said, there are usually a lot of tourists and
westerners at the facility, and most seem to enjoy their
stay and have a good time doing so. |
