|
This travel package is
definitely perfectly tailored for the adventurous more
dynamic travelers who are fond of camping in the desert
and discovering new places that only a few visitors have
seen.
El Gilf El Kebir area has become more and more popular among tourists
visiting Egypt during the past few years.
This area consists mainly of a huge uninhibited plateau that is around
7700 kilometers and located in the South West of Egypt
on the Libyan borders to the West and the Sudanese
borders to the South
The plateau has become famous worldwide for its
beautiful ruined natural scenes and human ruins that are
ancient dating back to prehistoric periods.
This trip is the best choice for campers as it consists
mainly of spending six nights in camps in the desert to
feel the magical atmosphere of living in the desert.
This is besides spending one night in the Dakhla Oasis
to explore the sites located there. The other part of
the trip consists of visiting the oases of the Egyptian
Western Desert; Bahariya, Farafra, Dakhla, Kharga to
explore the attractions located in these fascinating
destinations
The Egyptian oases, including Bahariya, Farafra, Dakhla,
Kharga, and Siwa have their own taste and magic. The
Bedouins living in these tribal communities are
different from any other population in Egypt. They have
their own habits, customs, and beliefs that are totally
matchless and unique
Moreover, many fascinating monuments are located
within the desert like the Temple of Alexander, the
Temple of Hibis, the Valley of the Golden Mummies, and
many historical tombs dating back to the Pharaonic era
and ending with the largest Christian historical tombs
in the world in the Cemetery of the Bagawat.
This trip is carefully designed to suit the needs and
the requirements of any traveler who loves luxury and
comfort.
All transportations will be made using comfortable private air-conditioned

After having
the tasty breakfast in the hotel, it will be time to
check out the hotel
The guest will take the comfortable private
air-conditioned minivan to the Bahariya Oasis, 365
kilometers to the South West of Cairo.
We will go around the oasis to explore it and view the
natural water springs and the wonderful natural scenery.
- Our next visit of the day will be to the Black Desert,
which was named that way because of the color of the
rocks and mountains located there.
These rocks have gained their colors from black quartz
that are present inside numerous rocks
We then we continue our trip to the Farafra Oasis, and
on our way we visit the crystal mountain, one of the
most famous attractions of the white desert.
This Egyptian Western desert wonder consists of large quartz naturally
formed crystals inside many rocks and stones creating a
startling magical scene
Our last stop of the day is the most interesting as we
visit the internationally famous White Desert, the most
important attraction in the Western Desert of Egypt.
Covering a surface area of around three thousand
kilometers. It consists of bizarre chalk white rock
formations that were once the surface of a shallow sea
that covered this area in prehistoric times.
The rocks create all sorts of shapes like mushrooms, animals, and strange
looking sculptures. All this area has become a natural
protected area during the last few years.
At the end of the day, we set up our camp in the desert
to enjoy the magical atmosphere of the region, watch the
stars, have an amazing barbeque party, and spend the
night in our comfortable camp |
|
|
|

|

the Egyptian oases during the Pharaonic times which is
now famous for its many historical sites, natural
scenery, and handmade products. We visit the old City of
Dakhla with all its re while listening to a wonderful
illustration of the history of this popular oasis.
Our next visit will be to Al Qasr, which is an ancient
Islamic village with houses and mosques all around it
this village was inhabited more than 500 years ago.

the interesting tombs dating back to the 1st and 2nd
century AD which are colorfully decorated and perfectly
preserved
Our next stop of the day will be to the visit the
temple of Deir Al Hagar or the monastery of the stone in
the Arabic language.

Khonsu and it is considered one of the finest examples
of the architecture of the period. At the end of the
day, we check in our hotel in Dakhla and overnight in
the hotel |
|

Day 4 : |
Sugar Loaf

breakfast we prepare in the camp, it's time to go on

We take our military escort officer on our way to the

Our first stop of the day will be at the Sugar Loaf
area, where the impact of time passing by the continual
blowing of wind caused these sand dunes to form bizarre
and awkward shapes all facing the same direction more or
less
Our next stop of the day will be at the Mud lions area,
which was a large lake in ancient times that was dried
up with time passing by. While having some imagination,
the guest can see how the wind and the hot and dry
weather created these wonderful figures from different
types of rocks. It is well known scientifically that mud
lions can take years and years to be formed.

periods of time. Some travellers consider this cave to
be the “Sistine Chapel" like the one in Vatican. This
site is truly different than anything else you will ever
view in Egypt.
Our next stop will be at the Mestekawi Cave which was
discovered in 2002 by an Egyptian-Italian tourist group
which was headed by Massimo Foggini (an Italian tourist)
and Ahmed Mistikaoui (An Egyptian Tourist).

ancient rock drawings that are perfectly well
preserved. At the end of the day, we set up our
