Pharaonic dynasty to the Greco Roman era. There are many
interesting tombs to view there including the tomb of
Si-Amun, dating back to the 3rd century BC and the tomb
of Mesu-Isis belonging to a 26th dynasty priest.
Our next visit will be to the ancient town of Shali,
which was founded during the 13th century and was

harsh rainfalls. The houses in the town were made out of
"Khershef", a local mixture of clay, salt, and many
other materials

the King of Egypt.

There is no connection between Queen Cleopatra and this
water spring and there are no known reasons behind
calling it after the famous Egyptian Queen. -
