| -We pick our guest from the location he prefers in Cairo and head towards the Bahariya Oasis -we ride in the comfortable air-conditioned 4X4 jeep to start our tours of the day -Our first stop of the day is the most interesting as we visit the internationally famous White Desert, the most important attraction in the Western Desert of Egypt. Covering a surface area of around three thousand kilometers. It consists of bizarre chalk white rock formations that were once the surface of a shallow sea that covered this area in prehistoric times. The rocks create all sorts of shapes like mushrooms, animals, and strange looking sculptures. All this area has become a natural protected area during the last few years. -At the end of the day, we set up our camp in the desert to enjoy the magical atmosphere of the region, watch the stars, have an amazing barbeque party, and spend the night in our comfortable camp |
After having the breakfast we prepare in our camp, it will be the time to go continue with our trip -Our first visit of the day will be to the Black Desert, which was named that way because of the color of the rocks and mountains located there. These rocks have gained their colors from black quartz that are present inside numerous rocks -We then we continue our trip to the Western Desert of Egypt, and on our way we visit the crystal mountain, one of the most famous attractions of the white desert. This Egyptian Western desert wonder consists of large quartz naturally formed crystals inside many rocks and stones creating a startling magical scene. -We go on to visit the Aqabat, section, the road of difficult passage, which is one of the highlights of the White Desert -We continue our trip to reach the Bahariya Oasis and we start by exploring the most interesting highlights located around the oasis -The next stop of the day will be at the temple of the Oracle of Amun, the most famous and important monument of Siwa. This temple was the home of one of the most famous oracles in ancient world. Alexander the Great has visited this temple in 331 BC to gain confirmation to be the King of Egypt. -We visit the Valley of the Golden Mummies; this necropolis dating back as the largest and most important tombs belonging to the Roman period was discovered by Zahi Hawas in 1999. There were hundreds of tombs scattered over a surface area of 36 square kilometers. -We have the most refreshing and tasty lunch in a local restaurant -At the end of the day we take our comfortable 4X4 vehicles and return back to Cairo after a marvelous tour of the White Desert and Bahariya Oasis
| The Bahariya Oasis: is located 360 kilometers to the South West of Cairo in the Western Desert of Egypt. It occupies a depression that is more than 2000 kilometers in surface area. The weather of the Bahariya Oasis is usually nice and moderate all year long. The Bahariya has become famous all over the world because it is the nearest oases to the Nile Valley and Cairo and it can be the best starting point to tour the White Desert, the Black Desert, the temple of Alexander, and the Valley of the golden Valley of the Golden Mummies. There are also more than 400 natural water springs in the Bahariya Oasis that are rich with mineral water that was proved to be very effective in healing many illnesses like Rheumatism and skin diseases |
