07:00 Departure from Cairo to Fayoum 08:30 Arrival “Auberge du Lac” hotel (Helnan Shephered) Tea& coffee, hotel history and itinerary briefing. 09:15 Departure for Nazla village, on the way visit a local fruit Garden in the village of Aboxa to recognize the rural life and the irrigation system of the oasis. 10:00 Visit of Nazla to see how pottery is produced by hand and potter’s wheel using old and traditional methods in open-air workshops. 11:00 Drive to Tunis Village situated on a hill overlooking Lake Qarun. 11:30 Visit the children pottery school and the glazed ceramic crafts gallery, other workshops of the locals and see a dovecote of the Fayoum in Tunis. 13:00 Lunch in the school garden. 14:00 Departure from Tunis to visit the temple of Qasr Qarun. 15:30 Camel trekking through fields to the shores of Lake Qarun. 16:30 Departure to Cairo. 21:00 Arrival to Cairo |
