| As you arrive at the Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by a Select Egypt representative who will assist you through the immigration and customs formalities. You will then be transferred by a deluxe coach to your hotel in Cairo to check in and stay overnight. |
After breakfast, you will meet your Egyptologist guide at the hotel to start your full day tour in Cairo. You will discover the pyramids of Giza and the famous Sphinx. Your tour will end with a visit to the royal burial ground during the old kingdom "Sakkara" you will visit the first proper pyramid built for king Zoser in the 27th century B.C by the architect Imhotep .Overnight at the hotel.
| After breakfast, you will meet your guide to start a full day tour to visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses about 250.000 antique pieces including the statues, sarcophagi & the fabulous treasures of Tutankhamun, and then drive to visit the Citadel of Saladin with the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali. Then to the famous Khan El Khalili bazaar (Since the 14th century). Overnight at the hotel. |
After breakfast, transfer by private minivan to the Mediterranean Sea to Alexandria; check in upon arrival at the selected hotel. Rest of the day free, exploring the second largest city in Egypt, which has an atmosphere more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern. Over night at the hotel.
| Breakfast, then start your tour by visiting the Greco- Roman Museum which houses a good collection of rare Roman relics and coins (The National museum instead, if it is closed). Then proceed to Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the site of the ancient Pharaohs (lighthouse) of Alexandria. Visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock and then visit the modern Library of Alexandria & finally enjoy Montazah Palace Gardens. Overnight at the hotel. |
| Breakfast & check out, then transfer by private mini van to Cairo with a stop in Wadi El Natroun (Natroun Valley) to visit the Coptic Monasteries. Notable among them is the Baramus Monastery, which was built at the site where Macarius the Great settled in 340 AD and is still inhabited by monks. Check in upon arrival in Cairo at your selected hotel. Overnight at the hotel. |
