The Egyptian Travel Agents Association Follows the declaration of the Egyptian President No. 85 of year 1968. According to this declaration the Egyptian Travel Agents Association are entrusted to look after the interests of Egypt tour companies, takes care of the tourism plan and represent public authorities organization locally and internationally. The ETAA also helps the authorities and organizations to develop and raise the level of performance. The Board of Directors who run the ETAA has fifteen elected members (two thirds) ten members by the General Assembly of the ETAA and the remaining third (5 members) is appointed by the Minister of Tourism. The Board of Directors of the ETAA regulates the work of the ETAA to develop the general strategy and to decide the relationship with authorities and departments whose work relate to the tourism industry. It also supervises the division which by the Board all over the country and the coordination among them as part of the wide-ranging strategy of the main chamber the board shall appoint members of Board of Directors of branches and their applications of the main ETAA.
